Enigma questions

So I recently became interested in owning a leopard gecko. I've been doing my research for a little over a week now, but there is a pressing issue I can't seem to find answers on.

Enigma syndrome: From what I can gather, it is a genetic/neurological problem specific to the Enigma morph. I have found a breeder that I like and is located close (relatively) to me, however she breeds Enigmas. Many of her available offspring that look appealing to me are crossbred with enigmas. Should I be worried about the syndrome presenting itself in individuals who are only 50% enigma? I know that a reputable breeder should not breed animals that show any symptoms, but you never really know, especially if one of the parents present symptoms after breeding. I would really like a happy healthy pet that will be happy with me for some time, not just a few years. Should I just avoid enigma crosses?
