I may have just received that pic a few nights ago from Mr. Hansen........The striped mex mex in the picture I have doesn't appear to be what I imagined....I imagine an open nuchal the length of the snake's dorsum.........The one in the picture has a mostly red stripe with some speckling in it....The laterals on the snake are speckled too........

Was the photographer Briggs?
