A few months ago, i picked up a seemingly plain light brindle male from a well known large wholesaler at a show. Upon closer inspection, he has a large white patch on top of his head, around his eye and under his chin....and his pupils seem to be a dark red.
Here's the catch: He is missing his tail and a large part of his crest is missing too...so i am not sure if he got into a fight with another male, got too close to a heatsource, or if it is some sort of genetic mystery. I am hesitant to put him with any of my females just in case it is something that can spread (althought i don't believe it is something viral).
So, maybe there is a strange gene in there that made him that way...i will eventually post pictures of him. One way or another, he is a sweetheart and i only paid $20 for him. ...I didnt need another male, but he makes a good pet.
