Tom, As you know, I just have the pure Sri Lanka molurus at this time. However, I only know of three other people that have pure Indian molurus besides you and Paul. Definitely not too many people currently working with pure animals, and not many pure specimens left. It's very unfortunate what has happened and the hybridization that has occurred with bivittatus. I think it is inexcusable to cross any of the rarer, or less accessible species in captivity, irregardless of the lame reasoning. Even though the breeder may know what they are, they have no control over what happens to them after they have left their facility, or how they are later identified or misrepresented. Once they have become genetically merged, that bloodline is lost forever.
