I'd suggest contacting Wayne Hill(contact info on his website). The Abbotts were a fixture at all the Breeders Expo. It's disheartening to read your post. I'm sure many will miss them at the shows.

>>my junior came from abbotts turtle farm in november 2003, and merilyn abbott was wonderful to communicate and deal with, and always answered any after-sales questions i had. out of curiosity, i went to see what their site was like these days, and it was gone. some googling revealed what is likely sad news... the property is for sale, has been since february 2009, and there is an obituary for a merilyn abbott of cocoa florida who died on january 2, 2009.
>>
>>does anyone here know the abbotts or know enough to say what happened? she was 76 years old. i hope that she is at peace and knows what joy her junior has brought my jusband and i.
