Males typically run 10 to 12 feet if fed reasonably well and I have had a few in the past that were in the 12 to 14 feet range. However, it is not too unusual for smaller individual males to be between 8 and 10 feet as adults, especially if maintained on a light feeding regime. The largest male I have personally seen was one I saw in Bob Clarks collection in the late 1980's. It was a little over 17 feet and very heavily built, but I would not have called it fat. It probably weighed close to 150 lbs. Not to worry, as this was an extremely unusual individual, and probably close to the record size for a male burmese.
