looks like a baby cooter.give it a 10 gal tank, filled halfway.you can use bottled or filtered water if you want, but i've kept my turts in plain old city tap water for years, with no adverse effects.
give it a basking spot, where it can haul itself completely out of the water.rocks, bricks, and plastic turtle docks all work well.

if you're keeping it indoors, give it a basking light that provides uvb lighting.you can usually get a clamp on light and bulb for $20 or so,a 75 watt should be more than enough.set the light so that it's within 10" or so from the basking spot.

feed it a varied diet,(if you use commercial pellets, purchase a couple different brands, and mix them up.feel free to add dried shrimp and krill, turtles go nuts for them).as it gets older,it will need more of a vegetarian diet, mainly consisting of water plants.
