It was picked up by UPS from the seller at 3:54 pm on 8/24.The seller sent me the tracking number. and the next morning, I got up early to await my new arrival.The tracking number showed no record, but I have seen that a lot, and was not concerned.At around 6pm the tracking finally worked, and showed a pick up scan at 3:54 on 8/24.I was worried at this point, but found out that UPS may deliver as late as 9pm, so I waited - no arrival. The next day, the seller put in a tracer request, which finally showed up on the tracking in the afternoon. No amount of calls to UPS gets me any answers.As of today, the turtle has been wrapped up for 4 days.So, dead or soon to be.I'm guessing stolen by a UPS employee.Seems simple enough to me. The driver made a pickup at the end of the day, scanned it, and that's the last time it was scanned.Any future purchases I make will not go through UPS. I will cancel the sale first.The personnel at UPS was sympathetic enough, but no help at all.I thought that a package sent Next Day Air would get beyond normal care, since it costs much more that a regular shipment.The trip was only 675 miles, they lost it, and quiote frankly, they really do not seem to care.
