We were golfing this afternoon, in the beautiful sunny weather. DH said, "Look! There's a turtle in that sand trap!" We went for a closer look. Sure enough, by the time we got there a pretty FEB had crawled out of the sand and up the grassy hill!

Of course I had no camera with me. But she was very healthy looking and a good size. No signs of injury, past or present!

Maybe she was either scouting out a hibernation place or a nesting place?!
