In one of my past apartments, which was a 2 bedroom, three floor (upstairs, main floor and basement) townhouse, in the winter, even the upstairs would be below 70F, so I kept most of my reptiles, my rodents in one bedroom with a space heater with built in thermostat, to keep the room 75F.
