>>I always wondered what is the rough percentage of daily non member surfers that just look at pics like dans and/or just read a few posts VS. logged in members that actually post, to say.. the milksnake forum.
Off hand I am not sure. I will say lovely photo posts such as this one do get an extra bump with promotions because they go well as promotions on our social media outlets. I have had people from our FB page ask where Dan has been. This is a post that attracts a wide variety of folks. Where as some of the specific forums, especially certain colubrid areas, where locale is a big topic will get a less diverse crowd. Both may get the same hits in a day but this will attract more unique hits and the milk forum will generate possibly more repeat visitors.
I keep pythons and can count on one hand how often I have field herped. I am an unapologetic deli cupper. But I fully appreciate the field herping and the photos in the wilds. My species is never represented but I LOVE looking thru the pics. ----- Cindy Steinle PHFaust Visit kingsnake on Facebook! Follow Kingsnake on Twitter!
