Western Oregon has experienced temperatures in the mid to upper 60's the past three days with yesterday and today being mostly sunny.

Went out today trying to see if I could come across my species of interest, the Rubber Boa. At the first 4 sites I visited, I observed our two local species of garter snakes. But at the 5th site, beside finding both the Northwestern and Red-spotted (Common) Garter Snakes, I also encountered three adult male boas which made my day.
