Okay, looking purely at the science of it, not the right or wrong of it:



Cross genera hybrids are possible, as in with camels and llamas or servals and domestic cats. So the fact that they are different genera would not rule out the possibility. Egg size might not be an issue if the Cyclura were the female. My male green used to go after my female Cyclura all the time. I don't *think* he ever made actual contact -- the one time he actually got close enough was during Mayan's first breeding cycle before I knew he was a male. However, their breeding seasons occur during different times of the year and Kismet was in no way receptive to his advances (in fact, she removed several of his toes. I don't know if he'd achieved anything prior to my breaking up the squabble, but I never tried incubating Kismet's eggs.
