If you go to Sea World on the weekend and they are having the Shamu Rocks show make sure to stay for it. My son is one of the guitar players. Also if you have time Balboa Park which is right next to the Zoo has some nice museums. Favorites are the Natural History, Space theater/science center and Museum of Man. If no time for the museums it is nice just walking around the park. Also it is about a 45 minute drive from the zoo area of town to the Wild Animal park.
