I'd go with CB animals, glades has some in the classifieds.

I had a group of CB animals for 7 years with no problems at all.
I kept the water warm, and well filtered.

I probably wouldn't go as far as UV filter, at least not for constant filtering, as it may kill beneficial bacteria that the plants and algae use, but for a establishment set up for WC animals, it probably wouldn't hurt.

They just need warm, clean water, and a stress free environment, and I think they can probably establish just fine, provided they are fairly healthy.
