A coworker of my husband's wants to get rid of his leo. I said I'd take it if it is not sick, as I already have 7 animals and can't afford to take another to the vet. My husband sent me an email that said his coworker "has to check to see if it's alive tonight". This makes me think he has not been feeding it regularly (we live in a very rural area, hard to get crickets reliably). If it is just thin, I can beef him up. I know I can use waxworms for this. For a regular diet though, what is the best worm to use? I can't do crickets because I have the worst time keeping them alive and we live in an apartment, so escapees would be very bad. I was thinking trevo/butterworms would be a good option. I kept leos for years, but I always fed them crickets before (when we lived in a more urban area).
