I think all Mexicana are mountain kings really....They are at somewhat of an elevation....Even Alterna are somewhat montane.....



In my opinion True mountain kings are Zonata and Pyromelana, but Everyone considers the Durango Mountain king to be the mountain king of Mexico....Even Brian Hubbs included them in his Mountain King book. I do believe they are found at higher elevations than Mex Mex, Thayeri and Ruthveni....But....Isn't the Ruthveni now called the Plateau Mountain King? What about Webbi?

I will have to check out Bob's info on Webbi elevation now....LOL



BTW....Ruthveni are not in the Mexicana complex anymore....They are just Lampropeltis Ruthveni........And you named every snake I love to work with Michael.....haha
