Thank you very much as never thought of removing beetles and starting a new colony.

I had to order more mealworms (2000 ct) because no babies yet (none that I can see) but the colony is doing great with BIG fat adults and lots of beetles.

I just go through them to fast and should have started the colony during winter.

I have bird aviary with finches (Florida) and they breed now left and right and throw lots mealworms in aviary as they love insects with their seeds during breeding season.
