Myles, I was told by a highly reknowned and respected Cyclura expert (who shall remain nameless) that my Lewisi hybrid and my green could likely co-exist just fine in a free roaming situation and for a while it worked out well. My green male was always up high on a shelf or in his tree while my female Lewisi hybrid was on the ground. Everything was great *UNTIL* my male green had his first breeding season. My female Cyclura wasn't old enough to know what he was up to and, even if she had been, their breeding cycles do not correspond. Fortunately for my Lewisi, she was bigger than my green and was able to defend herself from my green's advances. However, she removed several of his toes in the process. Still, I was relieved since it could have been a whole lot worse. If my Cyclura had been the male and the green the female, I don't think the green would have had a chance and would have likely been very badly injured.
