Normally one missed feeding is not a concern, however if you are saying he looks "ribby" then he may but significantly underweight to begin with. Perhaps he's ill, perhaps the previous feeding regimen was not correct. Nonetheless, if you are worried that he is loosing weight, and he's NOT eating, then a vet is a good idea.
