He was thoroughly encased in clay mud and couldn't move, a la Han Solo in carbonite. I sprayed him off and discovered that it was a Phrynosoma solare (Regal Horned Lizard). He seems to be a paraplegic; he can't move his back legs. I've tried to feed him harvester ants, but he won't eat them.
