I feed dubia almost exclusively. I feel the geckos do much better, and produce better when fed a larger in-house raised food item. Because I raise the dubia, I know what is going into them- subsequently what is going into my geckos. The turkish reds did not work for me, as they are prone to escaping, and are VERY fast.

The dubia will burrow into substrate, but when I clean (every other day) I simply scoop them back out if there are any left overs. I have learned feeding at night, when the geckos are out and ready to eat they don't miss them as often.

Good luck,
Jordan
