Usually you'll notice more distention and as the babies develop you should be able to palpate noticeable "masses" inside the female. Sometimes this is the only way I "KNOW" a female is gravid as some are sort of hard to tell just by looking. I don't do anything aggressive as far as feeling though, I just let them slide over my hand while I press my fingers lightly upward. Hopefully you'll be posting baby pics soon!
