Good lookin snake!, I had a weird silver and black one.born in captivity,it grew large enuf to eat a big squirrel-wich is what I fed it(road-kill)frozen/thawed.On a side note, since you know about garter snakes-I used to find green and black striped ones on the beach-feeding on blennies(small eels) at low tide-on San Juan island Washington state. They seemed like a true marine reptile.I was wondering if you knew their scientific name.I can't find anything about them. They don't look like pictures I've seen of puget sound garter snakes. Thanks jenni/
