Yesterday I observed my male 9 month Dumeril caudal luring. I didn't realize that dums did this, thought it was interesting, and figured I'd post about it.

He had everything but the last 1.5" of his tail and his head buried under his bedding (reptile bark) with his head about 3" in front of his tail facing out towards the front of the boaphile cage that I have him in. I watched him do this for about 5 minutes all the while that tail was writhing, twitching, curling and spasming... very cool to watch.

Has anyone else observed their dums doing this?
