>>what is the easist way and cheapest way to house and heat adult boas.
>>looking at getting a trio of morph boas (albino/sunglow)

Those two adjectives are on the opposing ends of the same spectrum.

Perhaps you should define with parameters your definition of easy and cheap.

For me Easy means easy to clean, easy to heat, easy to maintain and easy to use. However those in themselves are very different from keeper to keeper.

For example I think, sliding bypass doors are the heat. However those who use substrate or those with dirty specimens most likely will choose hinged or gate style doors. To me they are "Easy". Especially for flighty or snappy animals, I can expose only enough door to do my task and even use the door as a shield at times.

For me easy to clean means non stick or near non stick, and plastic products don't tend to harbor bacteria. meaning I don't need to scrub and deep clean the cage as often. What dirt does occur is wiped up easily and sanitized simple enough.

Easy to heat for me would be Radiant Heat Panels and Proportional thermostat. However both are relatively expensive, same goes for plastic.

So when you gather up my easy, it is in no way cheap. However I can simply stop in and check on my animals casually and don't have to schedule and couple hrs to clean adjust and worry about my cage climates.

My enclosure example above is 4 times as expensive as say a painted plywood box with hinged wood door a light bulb, ceramic heat emitter on a rheostat.

Reality is you need to enjoy the animal and you need to meet the animals needs.

I'm actually trying to work on a $300 dollar boa cage, to include thermostat (proportional) and RHP. To me that would be cheap and I have yet to break that mark for an Adult enclosure (commercially available).
