HI, I have a few females in a 40 gallon breeder tank with the male and the only problem I sometimes have is figuring WHO layed the eggs, lol. I have to find all the females and see who layed. And if they lay at the same time,,,,, well ya just have to wait and see what hatches, ,,,, lol.

They can lay every 2- 4 weeks. Most commonly 2 eggs each time. Although I have one female that only lays one egg. They do not need to mate again to lay. They retain sperm.
