just a note to all who work with mountain racers out there. i've seen it in coxi babies of two very well known breeders of this ssp. they're not as apparent as baby spider balls with wobbler symptoms but they definitely have an abnormal head wobble. i have not seen it in the latacintus yet or heard of anybody who's seen it (please post if you have). this may just be due to the latacintus coming into this country a couple years after the coxi. moral of this story is that mountain racers do not take to inbreeding/line breeding very well. i keep very detailed records on my breeding lats/coxi to make sure they are as genetic diverse as possible.
