Posted by: kingevil at Thu Jun 23 00:32:02 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by kingevil ] building new wood cages, need advice on therm probe placement. i am going to use flexwatt inside (!!!) the cages with holes drilled in the bottom for ventilation, and a small channel routed out for the tape to sit in. i will then put vinyl flooring over the entire floor and then substrate over that. i just need to figure out where to put the probe. most resellers of flexwatt say to put tape the probe directly on top of the tape, but i have no idea how to do that in a practical manner, without creating a big bump under the vinyl. any ideas?
