Below is a message I received earlier today. If anyone on this forum is maintaining rattlesnakes capture in Oregon and knows the locality where the specimen was found, I urge you contact Dr. Hayes.
In another message I received from Dr. Hayes, he mentions, "We especially need material from western and central Oregon, but would take samples from anywhere in northern California, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Washington, or British Columbia."

Richard, Do you still live in Oregon? I'm looking for some rattlesnake shed skins for one of my student's DNA work. If you or someone you know could send us some shed skins with very reliable locality-of-collection data, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Bill William K.
