Charles, Just my opinion, but this one appears to be an intergrade specimen based on several color, scalation, and pattern distinctions even though it does show many of the characteristics as seen with P. brongersmai. I don't believe there is any P. curtus in this specimen as there is a slight reddish tint to the background coloration, light borders on some of the dorsal blotches, and a very broad area of contact between the anterior pair of parietal scales at the centerline on top of the head. I don't believe you would see any of these features if P. curtus were involved.
However, the dorsal pattern and yellow coloration and characteristic shape of the lateral blotching is highly indicative of P. breitensteini. It would appear that this is quite possibly a brongersmai X breitensteini intergrade, although I could not say that with 100% certainty.
