I was keeping my crickets outside in my shed to appease the wife She has a bug phobia and didn't want them in the house. But after a couple days they were attacked by regular black house ants.

Does anybody know a way I can prevent this?

I live in San Diego, so the cricket farm is 5 miles away from my house and allows me to get crickets really cheap. I'f I'm unable to house larger amounts outside, I'll have to resort to buying them 15 at a time from Petco... which is criminal.
