Karl,
Excellent results this year, very glad things worked out so well. As I stated in my e-mail earlier, I believe that when dealing with the captive reproduction of green anacondas, it is one of the rarer and more difficult snake species to successfully breed in captivity. Your dedication was rewarded, and it really doesn't get any better than this.

I have attached a photo of one of my females eating one of her ova from the 2001 litter. As you can obviously verify, I have never seen or heard of a female that did not ingest the unfertilized ova and / or stillborn young after parturition. Definitely a useful survival adaptation and strategy.

Again, congratulations and now comes the really exciting part of raising up those neos.
