The Pastel Kings, as I understand it are Amel Ruthven's x Thayer's Kings. The amel gene originated in the Ruthven's.

But I believe Amel Nelson's Milks X Thayer's has also been done, is that correct? If so, what are they called? Surely they wouldn't be called Pastel Kings as well, would they?

My main question is are the amel gene from Ruthven's and the amel gene from Nelson's compatible? ie if I bred an amel Ruthven's x Thayeri to an amel Nelson's x Thayeri would I get amels in the first generation?

I would like to see pictures of any or all of the following:
Amel Ruthven's x Thayer's
Amel Nelson's x Thayer's
Amel Ruthven's x Amel Nelson's

The reason I ask these questions is because recently I saw an amel Thayer's that was the result of breeding two supposedly pure normal looking Thayer's. I'm just trying to figure out what the possible origins of this snake are and what various test breedings should result in.

I would also like to know because these snakes have different feeding preferences. Both Ruthven's and Thayer's often prefer lizards as fist foods. I'm not sure but I think Nelson's are much more likely to take pinky mice as first foods. Therefore and Amel Nelson's x Thayer's would presumably be more likely to accept pinky mice as fist food.
