Pretty tough to find affordable pieces that large. Cages By Design sells imitation (fiberglass I think) logs that are large and very nice, with the benefit of not being wood.

The other route you can go is 2x4s. Cheap, replaceable. You can get a wood scraper to carve out a nicer shape on the edges for that rough-hewn look, then go over it with a power sander. A coat of shellac helps make the wood last a bit longer if it gets wet occasionally. Shellac is safe and cures really fast but is not the toughest protection - better than nothing though. Don't use redwood or cedar. Other than that you are fine. Pine is fine as long as the snakes aren't immersed in pine oils. A few 2x4s won't cause harm.

Some DIY stores sell clean round logs for fencing. Those are nice too, and far less expensive than even just the shipping on grapewood.
