That's because Flagyl is also antibiotic, not the case with Panacur. Plus, Panacur is an extremely safe drug, with means the lethal dose is like 100X the therapeutic dose (or more). I even find it funny why it isn't used for humans, as it's really great, but never really went to research about the reason.

I also agree with what has been said below about pinkies leading to a bit of runny stools, from my experience with baby snakes (not monitors).

A stool check would be nice for your nile.
