I had a Curious thought and figured you guys could help me out.

Is there a reason why peple when handling or milking venomous snakes Don't wear latex or nitrile type gloves?

to be clear I do not have or intend to ever do anything with venomous snakes other than watch them on tv or at zoo's.

I have used nitrile gloves when handling squirmy(non venomous) snakes for a better grip and to keep from getting musk and what not on me. just a passing thought , thanks.
