I am interested in owning a new monitor....

I have experience with reptile ownership, I have raised all different types of snakes, bearded dragons, Leopard Geckos (my personal favorite), fat tails, and frilled lizards. I have worked with an adult sav monitor and had an opportunity to work with a large water monitor.

I currently have a 150 gallon saltwater aquarium that i am taking down in hopes of putting some type of dwarf species of monitor.

I have been instructed from all of the different forums to speak with Frank Rete and they all said that I can find him here.

I am interested in the rock monitors, but I have heard from others that they can be a little shy? Is this the truth and are there any that do not fit that profile.

What would yall recommend as a good starting monitor that will be able to live out its adulthood in the 150?
