Is this a good (non-permanent) cage setup for a young chameleon?

Im ordering an (approx 7 week old) ambilobe panther very soon. This wont be its permanent cage, its fairly small (about the size they sell them in at petstores) and his permanent cage for when he gets bigger is much larger.



Details:

Its a metal cage, mesh on three sides plus the top, and the top has two doors that open up. I was so lucky enough to get this for free from my teacher. Whats inside is a decorative tree that could be good for climbing, a log on the bottom that I know wont be of any use to the cham (its really just for floorspace and to look pretty), various fake plants, and lots of vines and twigs. Theres also a UVB lamp and a 75 watt basking light, along with heat and humidity thermometers and misting spray bottle.





My only other question is how old/big should he be before its time to move him to the large cage?
