Now I am completely new to ATS's so I will answer this in a very general way. When did you catch this turtle? What are the food items you are trying to feed it and do you have an actual setup for the ATS? If so he may need a few days to acclimate himself to his new surroundings. I recently received 2 hatchling ATS's that as of day #2 have not eaten yet. I have their setup with rosie red minnows and the place where I got them from said that it WILL take a few days b4 they start eating. Their is also hiding spots, the man said when you see them just laying theor with theor mouths open is when they are becoming ready to feed. ATS's are not hunters and chasers but opportunity feeders if that makes sense.
