Posted by: millsgotskills at Wed Jan 11 10:18:28 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by millsgotskills ] The only thing that concerns me is the size of the panes, if you did divide it up by bracing it yea 1/8" should be fne, but if you have to have a whole pane of 40x72" I would be concerned with only using 1/8" glass. By putting a brace across the glass so it would be 40x32 panes you might have more luck, but if you can use quarter inch thick glass for the sides that would still be best, even if you did brace it as mentioned.
