I have two juvenile Sliders, one Yellow Belly and one Red Eared. They are currently about 3 inches and in a 10 gallon tank, swimming happliy.
I recently purchased a 40 gallon breeder for them and am getting really frustrated with trying to find an appropriate filtration system. Every filter I find sold in a pet store or online is pretty much only good for babies, meaning the best it can handle is 6 inches deep of water.
I am aware that I will eventually need a bigger tank, but I am hoping to get a few good years out of this 40. I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction for a filter.
There is no way these guys are gonna be happy in 4 to 6 inches of water! Help please
