Baby Color Change Question

I'm a relatively new GTP keeper. I bought my little guy/gal in mid April from a local biology teacher. It's been fun and rewarding so far.

My question pertains to the color change. My python is bright yellow with small rusty spotting. He was hatched in March. I noticed some green markings on the snake's face today when I was doing a routine cleaning/misting. From what I've read, it's about time for the colors to start changing. Does the change tend to begin anywhere on the snake's body? I didn't notice any other green on the body.

As far as behavior, the snake is doing terrific. It sleeps all day and is super-aggressive and active at night. A real Jekyll and Hyde. It always eats readily and sheds in one piece. There's almost always caudal luring going on after dark.

I'm probably being paraniod-overly curious, but I want to know if this is normal or something I should worry about.

Thanks.
