Thanks for the input...
Since my last post i have sealed off all of the edges around the top screen with electrical tape (which should not be needed if these things were built right)... I sealed off the vents in the front under the doors, and, i installed 1/4" foam tape on the walls where the door closes to close up that gap.. so far i have not seen any crickets get loose, but this is a a real hassle after paying $70 for basically a modified 7 gallon "Reptile tank".. In my opinion, these enclosures are NOT reptile ready if your going to keep insect eating critters in them..
I emailed and called Exo Terre (HAGEN) for there advice, and of course i was told that i was the first person with this issue???? and, they told me to "only give the reptile enough crickets to eat while you are actually feeding them the crickets." ?????
so basically HAGEN was no help, i have a call in for a product manager to call/email me, but it has been several days and i have heard nothing..
