Although today's weather and temperature conditions were marginal (partly sunny in the AM, overcast in the afternoon, high of 51 degrees F.), I nevertheless made searches at five sites and found two adult male Rubber Boas at my third stop northwest of Corvallis.

The same two adult male boas have been found together at the same location and under the same tin in prior years. Both males are recaptures with one having been first captured in 2005 and the other male first captured in 2000.

Today's finds continue my streak of finding this species during the month of February for the 42nd consecutive years as I started making searches for the species during winter months beginning in 1971.

Richard F. Hoyer (Corvallis, Oregon)
