I'm a locality boa guy, mostly "dwarf" to "mid dwarf" boas. I've always wanted to work with Candoia and am making serious plans to start. I've been reading about them for years but for now the only information I've found on the web is Mr. Conway's article here on kingsnake.

Any links to good info on these snakes? Either on the web or books. Specifically interested in scale counts for the various Island races.

Any good sources for c.b. Candoia? Even better, sources who have reasonable certainty about which island theirs come from?

How arboreal are the candoia tree boas. It seems I remember reading that they can do fine in a terrestrial setup but will utilize and arboreal one if provided. Is an arboreal cage an absolute requirement for them?

Thanks,

Tommy Carpenter
