You'll have a much easier time finding Dumerils. Lower numbers of imported Ground Boas over the years coupled with their far smaller litter sizes has resulted in far fewer being offered in the hobby. As such, they command far higher prices than do Dumerils.



I have 2.1 Ground Boas but as I've posted in here before my "resident" male continues to try and kill the female when I introduce them for breeding...and the back-up male I obtained just prior to this breeding season has shown zero interest in the female. I did not have the latter long enough to properly cycle him and as all are still under 6' I'm holding out hope that they are just possibly still too small to be sexually mature.



So, I revert to the age old mantra of all breeders....."next year"! LOL
