With two consecutive days of total sunshine and temperatures at or slightly above 60, the 2012 'season' has commenced here in northwestern Oregon. I visited 4 of my old sites and came up with 7 adult male boas.

There were a number of juvenile Northwestern Garter Snakes under some of the tins as well.

All 7 boas were recaptures and will be released where found.
