Hello,
There is a lab in Holland where whith a blood sample and a fee of 60-70 euros they can accurately tell male or female on parrots and zoo animals, including helodermas.
People already did that test on their Helodermas, were 100% satisfied. I don't know if they did on suspectums or horridums (maybe both), but I suppose there's no difference.
I also suppose, that there is an option for someone who want to test 3,4 or more animals to get a better price per specimen. I am not sure on this fact, but this is a logical policy where many labs follow, and if yes this is a good reason to test massively lizards.
At this moment, we are two keepers with 7 H. horridum, and I keep trying to recieve a contacting phone number of this specific lab via a friendly reptile importer. As soon as I will obtain it I'll post you back.
Best wishes, Kostantine.
