Posted by: Kevin Saunders at Wed May 23 16:20:17 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Kevin Saunders ] My Montgomery, NC locality girl dropped her clutch yesterday for a total of 22 eggs, all of which are good. She dumped her water and soaked her bedding recently and instead of cleaning everything out and disturbing her right before she dropped the eggs, I thought I'd try a trick I picked up from the kingsnake forum. So I just flipped a big dinner plate over the damp bedding and she set up shop under there and dropped her eggs. The pics are in sequence showing the very simple nesting area, a pic from yesterday morning, then one from yesterday evening after all the eggs were out.
